Catholic Men Organization (CMO)

Catholic Men Organisation (CMO) is a group within the Catholic Church, dedicated to fostering the spiritual, moral, and social growth of all men in the Holy Rosary Parish and the wider Holy Rosary Parish Wuse community. Its primary goal is to encourage men to live out their Christian lives and values as responsible fathers, husbands, brothers, and role models.
The CMO serves as a platform for spiritual enrichment, community service, and fostering unity among its members, while contributing to the overall growth of the Church.

Activities of CMO in the parish include:
– Spiritual growth and formation of members.
– Participation in all church programs and activities.
– Bible study sessions and catechetical classes to educate members and the wider community.
– Promoting family prayers, and encouraging members to lead as spiritual heads of their households.
– Community Service and Charity Work.
– Fundraising for parish/church and community development projects.
– Mentorship programs for young men to imbibe positive christian values and guidance in their personal and spiritual lives.
– Seminars on topics that bother on the welfare of members, and encompassing health, spiritual, political, contemporary issues, Catholic doctrines, and dogmas, as well as finance.
– Insurance and assurance schemes to support members financially.
– Active roles in parish leadership, collaborating with other church groups and sodalities for effective evangelisation.
– Recreational activities, such as sports events (monthly) and Happy Hour (quarterly) to foster unity and fellowship.

Catholic Women Organisation (CWO).

Catholic Women Organization (CWO) of the Holy Rosary Parish, Wuse was established in 1987. Membership is open to ladies of age 18 and above, married or single, wedded or not, but must be guided by the rules and regulations of the Organization.
The parish CWO is composed of a population of over 280 women, across six zones. The zones are not autonomous but formed as avenues to reach out to the grassroots with ease. The CWO, being the umbrella for all women, has some other Women Organizations under it, and they work hand-in- hand to move the Parish forward.
Aims and Objectives:
– Ensure peace, unity, mutual understanding, and love among all women in the parish and beyond.
– Evangelization to win souls.
– Spiritual upliftment of all women in the parish.
– Care of all members.
– Maintenance of high moral standards of members within and outside the Parish.
– Bridging the gap between the social classes.

CWO activities include:
– Monthly meetings – First Saturday of every month
– Monthly thanksgiving – First Sunday of every month.
– Active participating in all parish activities.
– Visits to Orphanage homes, SS Simon & Jude Minor Seminary, Kuje, and hospitals.
– Annual retreats (February, July and December).
– Catechical studies during monthly meetings.

Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON)

Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON) is the umbrella body for all youths, aged between 14 and 35 years in the parish. It is the Organization where the youths connect in the parish and beyond for spiritual, mental, social and other positive upliftments.

CYON promotes the spiritual development of her members through Bible studies, fellowships, personal prayers, and active participation in the Sacraments and Apostolic life of the Church.

CYON Wuse has the following standing committees to enhance active participation and involvement of all youths in parish activities:
– Spiritual Committee
– Welfare Committee
– Education Committee
– Social Committee
– Project Committee
– Finance Committee
– Security Committee, and
– Publicity Committee

Meeting days: 3rd Sunday of every month – 10:00 am
