OUR SLOGAN: Iwene Tansi di Ngozi …… Yobala anyi ayiyo (Meaning: Blessed Iwene Tansi …… Pray for us)
OUR MANTRA: O nuru ube nwanne agbakwana oso – Ofu obi ka anyi ji aga (Meaning: If you hear the cry of a brother/sister do not run away or ignore it – we move with one spirit). This implies expression of love and care for one another and unity of purpose in our undertakings).
BITC-Wuse tries as much as possible to exhibit the Christian life as expressed in love of God and humanity as well as care of humanity particularly the members. Our mission is to grow together in the practice of our Christian Catholic faith in line with the practice of the early Christians as expressed in Acts 2: 44 – 47. In this regard, we:
- Encourage each other through prayers, studying the Catechism of the Church (in Igbo language) as instructed by the Parish Priest, thus assisting in Christian evangelism.
- Express brotherhood and love for each other through presentation and sharing of food and drinks together at our monthly meetings.
- Ensure we are there for each other to encourage and felicitate with members especially at difficult times such as bereavement, or hospitalization and for social activities such as birthdays, weddings etc.
- Ensure timely payment of all levies and contributions as may be directed by the Parish.
- Fully participate in all social and spiritual activities organized on Community basis by the Parish such as Feast & Cultural day activities, Harvest Thanksgiving & Bazaar, Retreats, Prayer sessions etc.
BITC-Wuse is committed to serving our Lord Jesus Christ, his Church and society through the activities of the Parish and this with love and unity of purpose among her members.
St. Michael Yoruba Catholic Community

St. Michael Yoruba Catholic Community is made up of parishioners from the following States of the Country namely Ekiti, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Ondo, Kwara, Kogi and Lagos.
Membership strength
The Community has thirty [30] registered members.
Activities
The Community participates actively in all parish annual programs such as the Holy Rosary Feast Day celebration, retreats, Cathedraticum, harvest & bazaar celebrations and any other activities planned and presented to parishioners. Members of the Association are also active members of the Sacred Heart, St. Anthony, CWO, CMO, the Choir and other societies in the Parish.
St. Gabriels Arewa Community

St. Gabriel Arewa North Catholic Community is made up of parishioners from 18 Northern States of the Country namely Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, FCT,Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Nstrength’
The Community has forty [40] registered members.
Meeting
Saint Gabriel Arewa Catholic Community meets on the last Sunday, of every month immediately after the 8am Mass, at the Civic Centre, opposite the Church.
Activities.
The Community is a vibrant and dynamic group in the Parish, that aims at fostering unity promotes fellowship, empowerment and support of it’s members when needed.
The Community holds Novena to St. Gabriel the Archangel from 20th – 28th of September and Thanksgiving on the 29th September.
The Community participates actively in all Parish annual programs, such as the Holy Rosary Feast Day celebration, Retreats, Cathedraticum, Harvest & Bazaar celebrations and any other activities planned and presented to parishiones. Members of the Association are also active members of the CYO’N , CWO, CMO, the Choir and other Societies in the Parish.
St. Anthony Benue/Kogi Catholic Community

St. Anthony Benue/Kogi Catholic Community is a Christian community in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Wuse. The community is headed by her elected executives, and the community holds her meeting last Sunday of every month.
Our Patron saint’s day is on 13 June.
The community’s activities include visiting the sick, supporting the needy, celebrating with members in times of celebration, and checkup on registered members who have been away from the meeting for a long period of time without a prior notice.
Saint Raphael Catholic Community, Enugu, Imo and Ebonyi states.

Saint Raphael Catholic Community Holy Rosary Catholic Church Wuse is a Christian Community comprising of parishioners from Imo, Abia and part of Ebonyi States of Nigeria.
The community was formed on 30th September 1992, with His Royal Highest, late Eze Vincent C Duru as the pioneer Chairman.
The community adopted the slogan Sacha Sachaa Nma, Emee, Anyi mere aghaa anyi ghara as our form of greeting. We do have our monthly general meetings every last Sunday of the month immediately after the 10.00am Mass in the parish at the St Raphael Hall. We also hold our Executive Meetings every 3rd Saturday of the month.
The main objective of the community is to promote spiritual growth of her members, to foster love, co-operation and unity amongst members within the territory. To always assist in raising funds for the welfare of the members of the community and for active support of Holy Rosary Parish, Wuse and Abuja Archdiocese at large. The community also support and encourage socio-cultural activities compatible with Catholic Christian Values in matters concerning the Wuse Catholic parish.
The community always participate fully in all church activities be it harvest, cathedraticum, the Parish Laity Council, Parish Cultural Day/Feast where our cultural troop fully display our cultural dance and showcase our rich cultural heritage, in addition to any other responsibility the church assigns to the community.
The community celebrates her feast “Feast of St Raphael the Archangel’ every year, beginning with Nine days Novena between 20th to 28th of September packed with spiritual activities, and capped with visitation to the sick and aged members. This spiritual journey is concluded with Mass celebrated in Igbo Language on the 29th of September every year.
Our cultural troupe (Egwu Owerri and Ogene dance) always perform on important events in the parish and the Archdiocese and is well known within the Church hierarchy.
The community attends Thanksgiving Mass every month on the day of her general meeting to thank God for the life of her members for the month. Activities for the year are rounded up with a well-attended End of Year Party preceded by thanksgiving mass during the 10.00am Mass in the parish. This End of year Party is always bankrolled by our Grand Patron Ezinna Barr Emmanuel Njoku between the second and third week in December.
